POLYGARD ANTIFREEZE H-OAT COOLANT is a proprietary blend of traditional and organic acid corrosion inhibitors and additives in glycol that provides all year round freezing and corrosion protection to your engine cooling system.
It meets the performance requirements of most HGV OEM’s and antifreeze national specifications protecting all metals commonly used in engine construction from corrosion and cavitation, including aluminium. It combines the protection of traditional Antifreeze and Coolant technology with the slower depletion rates of OAT formulations giving extended antifreeze life.
POLYGARD ANTIFREEZE H-OAT COOLANT meets the performance requirements of BS 6580 (1992), ASTM D 3306, ASTM D 4985, AFNOR 15 – 601, VAG TL774-C, TMC RP 329, MTU 5038, MAN 324NF, Caterpillar SEBU6250-12, Detroit Diesel 7SE 298, Mercedes Benz DBL 7700.20 (325), Saab 690 1599, Scania TB1451, Cummins 14603, MTU: MTL 5048, BMW N 600 69.0, Volvo Car : 1286083 Issue 002, VOLVO Truck (Vehicles built up until 2005), and SAE J1034. DIRECTIONS
POLYGARD ANTIFREEZE H-OAT COOLANT is suitable for use in all climates and provides year round corrosion and freezing protection. When diluted with clean water it can provide freezing protection as low as – 70°C where extreme winters are usual. To ensure satisfactory freeze and corrosion protection the minimum concentration used should be 33% by volume and for heavy duty diesel applications 50% by volume is recommended. Consult engine manufacturer’s recommendations before use.
